What is Realm?
Realm is a ministry tool that helps the people of Yates stay connected as a church family. You can update your information, share changes like a new phone number, check the schedule, or download important documents. It also gives you freedom to manage your giving and connect with groups that matter most. Safe and simple, Realm helps our church live faithfully together every day.

Where to find it
- Sign in to Realm.
- Open Groups in the left navigation and select your group.
- Use tabs: Info, Events, Participants, Invites, Resources.
- Register yourself, family, or guests for church-wide events.
- Collect custom details (T-shirt size, meals, etc.).
- Create paid events with discounts and add-on items.
- RSVP to group events and sign up to bring items.
Where to find it
- Open Realm.
- Select Events in the left navigation.
- Choose an event → Register / RSVP.
- Give one-time or set a recurring schedule.
- Choose a fund and manage payment methods.
- View giving history and statements in your profile.
- Secure, simple, and available anytime.
Where to find it
- Use the Yates Giving Portal, or
- Open Realm → Giving (web or app) → select fund, amount, schedule.
- Your information is never public; it’s visible only within Yates Realm.
- Choose who sees each field: Everyone, My Groups, Leaders, Staff, or Only Staff.
- Parents control whether children appear in the directory.
- Authorized staff always have secure access for care and accuracy.
Where to find it
- Open Realm → your Profile.
- Edit contact info and adjust Privacy Settings.
- Set per-field visibility or pick a preset level.
Privacy & Security
You control what others see. Profiles are only visible within Yates’ Realm community—never public on the open internet. You can choose what contact information to share and update it anytime.
Set Up Online Giving (3 quick steps)

Create or sign in to your Realm account
Use the Yates Realm portal or the Realm Connect app to access Giving.

Choose one-time or recurring
Pick a fund, enter an amount, and decide whether to give once or set a schedule. You can view giving history and pledges anytime.

Confirm securely
Realm records electronic gifts to your profile so statements are easy to access and print when you need them.
Troubleshooting & FAQs
Didn’t get an invite email?
- Check your spam/junk and Promotions folders.
- Search for “Realm” or “onrealm.org”.
- Confirm we have your current email on file—email info@yateschurch.org.
- If you already have an account, just sign in to Realm.
Forgot your password?
Use the password reset on the Realm sign-in page.
If you don’t receive the reset email, contact the church office.
Not receiving emails from Realm or your groups?
- Open the Realm app or portal and go to your Profile → Notification Settings.
- Enable email for posts/messages you want to receive.
- Add
no-reply@onrealm.orgto your contacts and mark any Realm emails “Not spam”.
How do I update my profile or photo?
- Go to your Profile in Realm.
- Edit your contact info, household details, and photo.
- Set what others in Yates can see under Privacy.
Questions about giving?
- Open Giving in Realm (web or app).
- Select a fund, enter amount, choose one-time or recurring.
- Add a payment method; your history and statements stay in your profile.
