Why we give
Giving is never only about money. It is about trust, belonging, and how love takes shape in daily life. Our generosity flows from God’s generosity and joins the way of Jesus.
Awe before ownership
“The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it.” — Psalm 24:1
Everything we have has come as gift. We hold life’s resources with open hands and wonder, not entitlement or fear.
Vocation over obligation
“Serve one another with whatever gift each has received.” — 1 Peter 4:10
Generosity is calling, not chore—our gifts are entrusted to bless others.
Costly love
“Though he was rich, for your sake he became poor…” — 2 Corinthians 8:9
Real love stretches us. Sacrificial giving reflects Jesus’ own love and opens us to resurrection life.
Joyful trust, beyond transaction
