Grief Share

Healing from grief is not easy. It is a long and sometimes painful process. Let us be part of your support team in a 12-week, confidential group journey together.

We customarily offer online GriefShare support groups every fall and spring.

Financial Assistance

Yates Baptist Church partners with One Need for crisis support and intervention.

One Need believes that every person in need who reaches out to the Church should be fully heard. Jesus cared for the physical and spiritual needs of the forgotten, the outcast, and the broken. We seek to follow that example by loving every person in deed and in truth, and encouraging others to do the same.

Food Support

Yates Baptist Church partners with the TriWest Food Pantry to support crisis food requests. The pantry is currently open on Thursdays only from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

The food pantry is located in the Antioch Baptist Church at 1415 Holloway St, Durham, NC 27703 (click here for map). The phone number is (919) 688-8893.

12-Step Recovery

Yates provides host space for a number of community 12-step recovery groups on the third floor of the Yates Education Building. All meetings are accessible thorough the Welcome Center. Please contact group leaders directly for more information. If you would like to have a confidential conversation about navigating to one of these healing communities, you can also contact the pastor directly.
