2) How to Submit a Takedown Request

Send a written notice by email or mail to our agent including all required items below. Incomplete notices may delay processing.

  • Your physical or electronic signature.

3) What Happens Next

  • We review the notice and may remove or disable access to the material.
  • We notify the poster/uploader and may share your notice.
  • The poster may submit a counter‑notification. If valid, we may restore the content unless we receive notice of court action.

4) Counter‑Notification (for Posters)

If you believe your removed content was misidentified or authorized, send our agent a written counter‑notice containing:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the removed material and where it appeared (URL) before removal.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, and phone, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or for Durham County, NC if outside the U.S.) and will accept service from the original complainant.
