CHRISTmas Peace

May the peace of Christmas,
fill the world with tranquility
may it spread across the land
and put an end to all hostility.
May God hear the entreaties,
from those who live in unrest
may He silence their enemies
and bring hope to their distress.
May the peace of Christmas,
comfort all who are oppressed
may they be filled with assurance
for their suffering, they’ll be blessed.
May God hear the grieving cries,
of those who have lost a loved one
may they be comforted in knowing
tis why He, sent His begotten Son.
May the peace Jesus brings,
overcome the world’s hatefulness
may the promise of eternity . . .
be the reward, for faithfulness!
