📝 Simplified Summary

Your gifts are processed by trusted providers (Vanco via Realm). Payments happen over secure, encrypted connections. We never store full card numbers, CVV, or bank credentials on our website.

You’ll receive receipts by email, and mid‑year and year‑end statements are available. Questions? Email info@yateschurch.org.

1) Overview

Yates Baptist Church uses Vanco Payment Solutions for payment processing and Realm by ACS Technologies for church management. Online gifts are handled by these platforms using secure, industry‑standard practices.

2) Trusted Processors

  • Vanco Payment Solutions — online/recurring payments (credit/debit/ACH).
  • Realm by ACS Technologies — contributions records, donor communications, statements.

See each provider’s published security statements for details.

3) How We Protect Your Information

  • Encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all giving pages and account access.
  • PCI‑DSS compliance via our processor (payment data handled by Vanco).
  • Role‑based access inside Realm; least‑privilege for staff and volunteers.
  • Account security options such as strong passwords and two‑step verification where available.
  • Ongoing reviews of access logs and periodic administrative audits.

4) What We Don’t Collect or Store

  • No full payment card numbers.
  • No CVV/CVC security codes.
  • No online banking (ACH) credentials.

Those details are entered directly into our payment processor’s secure systems.

5) Receipts & Giving Statements

  • Receipts: You’ll receive an email receipt for each online gift.
  • Statements: We issue mid‑year and year‑end giving statements. Paper copies are available on request.
  • Directory/privacy: We do not publish donor names or amounts publicly. Access to contribution information is limited to authorized personnel.

6) Records Retention

Giving records are retained for 7 years to support ministry, accounting, and legal requirements. See our Records Retention summary.
