Senior adult members are known for their caring, loving and encouraging spirits and a deep desire to continue in their Christian growth. Outside of Sunday mornings, members focus their energy on ministering to each other in friendship and in times of special needs. Other groups are also active in supporting many ministries in the church.

We provide regular visits to many Yates senior adults to maintain relationships they have established with the church over many years. Many of our senior adults who are home bound also connect with Yates through our live stream worship.

Service opportunities arise regularly, especially on the 3rd Thursday of each month with “Lunch-n-Serve,” a time of fellowship that is accompanied by opportunities to learn about and take part in simple acts of caring and mission in our community.
