Children's Choirs

  • Preschool Praises (Birth - Age 3 and parents)  This parent led music time with their children is spiced with laughter and singing as the parents join their toddlers in singing favorite songs, reading Bible stories, rhythm and movement activities, and an all around good time for the whole family.  Parents are a vital part of this music time.  They meet in Room 204 on Wednesdays at 6:15 p.m., September - May.
  • Preschool Choir (Age 4 - kindergarten)   This choir uses music, stories, and fun activities in beginning the development of spiritual and musical concepts that will follow these children throughout their lives.  This choir sings in public at Christmas and at the end of the choir year in May.  They rehearse in the CDC Lobby on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m., September - May.
  • Music Makers (Grades 1-2)  This choir uses music, stories and fun activities in beginning the development of spiritual and musical concepts that will follow these children throughout their lives.  This choir sings at Christmas and at the end of the choir year in May.  They rehearse in Room 205 on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m., September - May.
  • Young Musicians  (Grades 3-5)   As the oldest of the graded children’s choirs, this group is being taught spiritual, as well as music education concepts, as they develop their awareness of God in their lives, our worship of Him, salvation through Jesus Christ and the ministry of the Holy Spirit.  This choir sings at Christmas and at the end of the choir year in May, as well as on several selected Sundays.  They rehearse in the Choir Suite on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m., September - May.
